African Sun Media was founded in 2003 and has a print and production plant at Stellenbosch University, which it represents as its scholarly press and print partner.
As a wholly incorporated through-the-line Design Agency, African Sun Media Create offers the entire gamut of communication solutions, applicable across a range of media.
In 2019, after changes in the ownership structure to include Black female shareholders, coupled with changes to upper management; African Sun Media’s BBBEE rating was elevated to a Level 1 Contributor.
Ever mindful of being part of the broader community, African Sun Media established the African Sun Foundation, a vehicle with which the company engages local disadvantaged communities in its philanthropic efforts, making social responsibility a key area of focus for the company and its teams.
