The newly established Central Events and Conferencing Office (CECO) is in full operation and has been since we had come out of hard lockdown in 2020. This unit manages all short-term rentals for events and conferences on campus and is a central point of contact from now on to hire SU facilities.
“CECO manages short-term rentals for both SU clients as well as external clients wanting to rent our world-class facilities. There is a lot of new information regarding the services offered. We will be running a series of explainer videos over the next few months to clarify the new processes and systems in place. We are up to speed with the latest Covid-19 compliance regulations and will ensure safe and compliant events for our clients. Conference liaison, supplier sourcing and assistance with municipal applications are but a few of the services we offer,” says Catherine Channing, manager of CECO.
