Baryl joined the Stellenbosch University Finance Department as designated accountant for Innovus in 2016. She has extensive experience in the finance function of businesses with a strong focus on financial management, reporting, budgets, preparation of group consolidated annual financial statements and governance. She is responsible for the Innovus Department and US Enterprises (Pty) Ltd (a fully owned subsidiary of Stellenbosch University) financial reporting. Baryl has been involved in an advisory role in the setup of startup companies and incubation projects, assisting with budgets, liaising with stakeholders, doing valuations and ensuring a high level of stakeholder satisfaction.
