William Cloete

Technology Transfer Manager

William joined Innovus as a translational postdoctoral fellow in January 2015, working on projects related to inherently antimicrobial materials for coating and filtration applications. His research career as postgraduate student as well as a former research chemist at Kansai-Plascon has been of a highly collaborative nature integrating engineering, life sciences and polymer chemistry principles to solve complex problems.

He currently manages a large IP portfolio related to these fields. Beyond his Tech Transfer duties, he also plays an integral role as liaison between our business incubator, the LanchLab and Innovus (or as William calls it, “The Mother Ship”).
